Dr. Fox and the Advanced Lap Band Center have arranged with the Surgery Center of Richardson (SCOR), an out patient ambulatory surgery center accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) as a Center of Excellence (COE), a package price of $15,000 for the Lap Band procedure.
This includes:
- Surgeon's fee
- Assistant Surgeon's fee
- Anesthesiologist's fee
- Hospital facility fee
- Cost of the band
- One full year of AfterCare program visits
- One full year of Lap Band adjustments
- One full year of follow-up office visits with Dr. Fox
This is an extremely competitive price, as most cash pricing does not include AfterCare, band adjustments, or follow-up office visits.
We also have a number of financing options available to our patients to make this potentially life saving procedure available to the average person.
Pre-op office visit, labs, PCP medical clearance (if needed), are separate charges, but are usually covered by insurance (co-pay required, as usual).
Also, pre-op psychological assessment and dietician visit for nutritional counseling are also separate charges. These may or may not be a covered insurance benefit under your plan.
